When should I expect my royalty payment?
Payments (checks and ACH) are sent on or about the last business day of each month directly from JPMorgan Chase Bank. Please allow 10 business days for checks to arrive before reaching out regarding missing checks. Revenue statements are mailed out separately by EnergyLink on or around the same day checks are mailed.
Can I access my revenue check online?
Yes, royalty payment information is offered online via Energy Link. If you are a new user, you can create an EnergyLink account by clicking on Energy Link – User Signup. You will need recent payment information to complete registration.
Why does my monthly payment vary?
Payment amounts can vary due to many factors including the following:
- Corrections to a previous payment
- Notice of a change of ownership
- Oil & natural gas production, prices and market conditions
How do I change my address?
Change of address requests can be completed online via EnergyLink. From the Invoices/Checks tab, select the “Change of Address” option from the “More” dropdown. If you are a new user, you can create an EnergyLink account by clicking on Energy Link – User Signup. You will need recent payment information to complete registration.
What is the minimum amount to issue a check?
Checks are not issued until the balance due to an owner reaches $50 USD. Once a year in August, payments will be issued to all owners with a total balance of less than $50 USD.
Is direct deposit offered?
Yes, direct deposit enrollment and changes to existing direct deposit information is offered online via EnergyLink. From the Invoices/Checks tab, select the “DD/ACH Enroll” option from the “More” dropdown. If you are a new user, you can create an EnergyLink account by clicking on Energy Link – User Signup. You will need recent payment information to complete registration.
When should I expect my 1099?
1099s are mailed out by January 31st of each year. Please allow 10 business days for 1099s to arrive before reaching out for a replacement. 1099 forms can also be accessed online via Energy Link. New users may create an EnergyLink account by clicking on Energy Link – User Signup. You will need recent payment information to complete registration.
